Teen cross domain use of chatbots. We are studying how chatbots become embedded in teens' academic, emotional, and social lives, and how these interactions shape trust, self-presentation, and identity development.

Reclaiming Attention in the Age of AI. Funded by Dr. McDonald’s CAREER grant this research explores how young people experience algorithmic influence and explores how attention can be reclaimed as a resource for agency and self-understanding in highly personalized digital environments.

Device bans and age restrictions. We are exploring teens, parents, and teachers experience of device free schools and increasing legislation that restricts use of social media among teens.
